Packing Essentials

Our safaris take you to remote locations where weather can be unpredictable – even in summer. Pack smart, layer well, and prepare for all conditions. The right gear ensures you stay comfortable and focused on the adventure ahead.

When Should I Book My Safari?

Our safaris are owner-guided with limited departures and often sell out 6 months to a year in advance. Some popular rides book out up to two years ahead! We recommend enquiring at least 6 months before your preferred travel date.

Even if a ride is sold out, you can still submit a rider form and we’ll notify you immediately of any cancellations. This gives you the best chance of securing your spot on the adventure you’ve been dreaming about.

Will There Be a Photographer?

Photographers aren’t included in the standard ride price. On select hosted rides, we may have a photographer join us to capture content for our website and social media. You can purchase access to all trip photos for around £250.

Private photography arrangements may be possible for a day visit or full ride, depending on the location and space availability. Some remote destinations have limited capacity, but we’re happy to explore options. Contact us and we’ll share availability and quotes if possible.

How Do I Pay For My Safari?

All safaris require a deposit of up to 50% to secure your spot, with the balance due 60 days before departure. Payment is typically made by bank transfer in the safari operator’s currency. We recommend using Wise for the lowest international transfer fees.

Card payments are also accepted, though a 3.25%-5% processing fee may apply to cover bank charges. Cash payments on arrival are not accepted – all rides must be prepaid. We’ll send you a detailed payment guide along with your deposit details.

Understanding Rider Experience Levels

Our safaris are designed for experienced riders who are comfortable at all paces and can confidently control a forward-moving horse while cantering in open country alongside other horses. If you’re not comfortable cantering in open terrain, our rides may not be the right fit for you.

We categorize riders from Beginner (new to riding) to Legendary (ready for unbroken horses!). Most of our safaris suit Intermediate to Advanced riders who are secure, balanced, and confident across varied terrain. Our safaris are sporty and fast-paced, so honest self-assessment is essential for group safety and enjoyment.

We’re more than just yoga. We’re a community devoted to balance, inner peace, and personal growth—on and off the mat.
